Times: 7.30-11.00

The OG spoken work pioneer comes to London for an exclusive performance of his conscious skilled lyricism.

With a seamless fusion of old school hip hop and griot-style storytelling… American poet, rapper, musician and actor plays London’s Ghostnotes venue for an unmissable night of proclamatory MC’ing.

Having headlined at the Roundhouse, this is a unique opportunity to watch the enigmatic wordsmith capture his audience in this intimate London setting….

Societal commentary and deconstruction performed with a practised verbal artistry, it is no surprise Williams has reached international acclaim. Nuyorican Poets Cafe Grand Slam Champion, he’s performed alongside influential artists such as Erykah Badu, KRS One, De La Soul, and The Fugees. Being an activist with such an individual form of expression Saul has toured and lectured across the globe… having been published by the New York Times, Esquire and Bombing magazine, this only testifies the power and reception of his messages both on and off the stage. His work has been said to be at the forefront of social change, igniting movements and breaking down boundaries and taboos…

It comes as no surprise that Sauls performances have been described as a

“Torrential flow of wordplay” that shocks and compels the most tired of audiences.

Exalting the power of metaphor, and exploring the english language with incomparable finesse… Williams delivers his message with a dramatic fervency.

With a manic energy that has been likened to a preacher- Saul is indeed preaching a much needed modern consciousness to a world with lagging morals.

Join the enigmatic wordsmith that is Saul Williams for an intimate night of ground-breaking words and music.

“It is a talent, along with making complex, intricate music that wedges itself into the listeners’ consciousness, that few can rival Williams at.”- HipHopDX

“MartyrLoserKing’ is an album that makes you angry in the best possible way. This may not be for everyone, hell, it may only be for the brave, but if you take the ride you’ll be vastly rewarded.”
Clash Magazine

“When you’re in the presence of Saul Williams, you feel time and space slow down” -NOISEY
