Raekwon + Jeru The Damaja + Talib Kweli + many more

Raekwon will be performing a full live show as part of Beat Horizon at Motion Bristol.

Corey Woods (born January 12, 1970) is an American rapper known to most as Raekwon (the Chef), one of the nine original Wu-Tang Clan members. Raekwon joined Wu-Tang Clan, the legendary hip hop group based in Staten Island, New York in 1992. When the time came for him to release his first solo album in 1995, ‘Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…’, hip-hop, once again, underwent a momentous transformation.

Having recently worked with JAY-Z on ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’, The Chef will later this year drop his new album ‘FILA’, featuring new music and collaborations from hip hop legends in Ghostface Killah, Capadonna, Method Man & Nas plus fresh material with UK soul singer Estelle.

Jeru The Damaja is one of the undisputed greats of east coast hip-hop. A contemporary of and collaborator with the likes of Guru, Premier, Beatnuts & Pete Rock and a leading light of game-changing hip-hop crew Gang Starr Foundation since it’s 1993 inception, he made his name as one of NYC’s most adept rappers striking out from the commercialisation of hip-hop culture and has always been a strong advocate for keeping it real.

Also performing at Motion Bristol on the day will be Talib Kweli, Mala, Swindle, DJ Storm, Yasiin Bey, Sampa The Great and many more.
