Formed back in 2006, The group broke out in 2014 after a video of their subway performance mash-up of “Funkytown” and James Brown‘s “I Feel Good” went viral. Lucky Chops was made up of a group of school-friends whose intense energy and improvisational humour rocketed their subway busking sessions to a global phenomenon. Having solidified into their current five-piece form in 2016, they now tour the world, mixing their funky, dance-music-influenced cover songs with fiery original material. Busking superstars, this New York instrumental outfit are a dynamic, horn-based ensemble known for their infectious live performances.
